Ubuntu 11.04
LO 3.4.2 (previously 3.3)
and
Windows 7
Libre Office 3.3.
Lenovo T520
Within Ubuntu : whever making a copy operation ( several cells moving within a
spreadsheet, or copying a spreadsheet from Calc into a writer document, etc. ),
the OS freezes completely.
The only way out is the Physical Powering off and re-powering the laptop.
After restarting,
- sometimes the file was recovrable ( by LO )
- often, the initial file was not recoverable ( its size went to 0 ).
Within w7, using LO, manipulating same files, the phenomena did not
occured.
The error was not repeatable on other distros ( reported on bugzilla,
where other contributor tested this ).
Since this bug, I was forced to switch back to a w7. ( Using exclusively
Ubuntu -on older laptops - since 2 1/2 years )
