I fixed update-manager to not crash in case of such errors but print
reasonable informaton.

I am guessing you had a bad line/syntax/whatever at the sources line in
your apt list -- this would match the error message in the backtrace.
After you reinstalled feisty herd3, this was solved.
For the other crashes, please open a new bug for each, so we can track
individually.

I freshly reinstalled Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn Herd3 today and there was 64
updates available. I was able to download and install 63 of them. It held back
1 gnome-app-install update. Since then I have not yet gotten this bug this
time. But I have gotten these 4 bugs.
