Public bug reported: As Edubuntu is now using the same icon theme as Ubuntu, we now end up having the Ubuntu logo as the launcher for the dash in Unity (both 2d and 3d).
We'd like to replace it by the Edubuntu logo. The packaging change will affect edubuntu-artwork and will most likely be a divert of the logo shipped by Unity (or the icon theme) to our edubuntu-logo.svg (or a png equivalent if unity doesn't support svg). If possible, we'd like that approved and uploaded before beta1 so we have our "final" desktop for beta1 and we can start updating our documentation. As far as I know, from a documentation point of view it only affect the Edubuntu documentation team and most specifically the screenshots on our website which I'm going to do myself, so consider that as an ack from the Edubuntu doc team :) ** Affects: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Stéphane Graber (stgraber) Status: Triaged ** Changed in: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Milestone: None => ubuntu-11.10-beta-1 ** Changed in: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: edubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Stéphane Graber (stgraber) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/834787 Title: [UIFe] Replacing unity circle-of-friends logo by the Edubuntu logo (distributor-logo.svg) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/edubuntu-artwork/+bug/834787/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
