Namely, when inserted, a card is recognized correctly, but after some time starts to misbehave and the file system remounts as read-only. The system in question is Ubuntu Natty, with kernel version 2.6.38-8-generic, on a Dell Latitude E6510. The memory card is Transcend microSDHC, 16GB capacity. Here comes the dump: [ 2599.182852] mmcblk0: error -110 transferring data, sector 412178, nr 2, card status 0xc00 [ 2599.183072] end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 412179 [ 2599.183079] Buffer I/O error on device mmcblk0p1, logical block 205065 [ 2599.183083] lost page write due to I/O error on mmcblk0p1 [ 2609.152658] mmcblk0: error -110 transferring data, sector 2443432, nr 2, card status 0xc00 [ 2609.152879] end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 2443433 [ 2609.152886] Buffer I/O error on device mmcblk0p1, logical block 1220692 [ 2609.152890] lost page write due to I/O error on mmcblk0p1 [ 2609.700673] mmcblk0: error -110 transferring data, sector 2476038, nr 2, card status 0xc00 [ 2609.700892] end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 2476039 [ 2609.700899] Buffer I/O error on device mmcblk0p1, logical block 1236995 [ 2609.700902] lost page write due to I/O error on mmcblk0p1 [ 2610.373668] mmc0: Got data interrupt 0x00100000 even though no data operation was in progress.
