At 21:48 hours I booted into my Ubuntu Natty system. I logged in, the
desktop settled down and I inserted a USB broadband modem. And I
suddenly got a black screen with some kernel messages and the following
messages which end in a call trace:
I pressed control-alt-delete to force a reboot and the system rebooted
to normal (after a dusk check)
