Since you mentioned the installer hangs, I'm not sure what the procedure
is.. but you can try this:
Add some persistent space when using usb-creator-gtk if you haven't done so
already (so you can make a hard restart and have the logs saved).
Use sudo ubiquity --debug to start the installer (Note
sorry, in the past ubuntu automatic add backtraces and logs.
the first test is the alpha 3. now i have test with daily.
alpha 3: i get an error message an hangs on 60%
daily from 30.08.11: i didn't get an error and it hangs on 64%
