When one tries to reboot the Dell Latitude E6220 with a 64 bit kernel from natty it hangs at the very end of the shutdown sequence. The console output is: ... ... * Will now restart [ xxxx.yyyyyy] Restarting system. Then nothing happens. One has to force power off.
