Unity is only build of 1024*600 screens and more. The problem reported
in this bug report have been fixed in Oneiric already you need to run
update manager and update your system

I can confirm this in Ubuntu 11.10 Onieric Beta
It is difficult to see buttons. since the size is too small.
Workaround
Keep ALT pressed and drag the window up to uncover the buttons.
