I had a corrupted ~/.cache/oneconf directory, causing oneconf-server to
crash (a KeyError in hosts.py: self.current_host['hostid']) and then I
would see the same DBusException from the oneconf-query client as
described above.
Deleting ~/.cache/oneconf fixed it for me.

Got this today on 1 machine after kernel update and rebooting.
oneconf-query crashed with DBusException in call_blocking():

before a reply was received
