The 18 month support period for Edgy Eft 6.10 has reached it's end of
life. As a result, we are closing the linux-source-2.6.17 Edgy Eft
kernel task. However, Hardy Heron 8.04 was recently released. It would
be helpful if you could test the new release and verify if this is still

Getting the same errors with [x]ubuntu 6.10 2.6.17-10-generic kernel on
my IBM Thinkpad T43 which I ran 30 days without problems using hibernate
(suspend to disk). But after using suspend to ram yesterday uptime is
messed up:
ls -alh /var/log/dmesg && uptime && cat /proc/uptime:
-rw-r- 1 root
um, nvm me. feel free to wipe these 2 comments.

hmm, is 11:09:54 your local time? as soon as i saw this bug i decided to
test it. both my edgy & feisty systems report their uptime as the local
time... which is definently not accurate.
