You have been subscribed to a public bug: Associations of package descriptions are awfully wrong for several packages. For example, there is the texmacs package, which shows an outdated description.
But there is also the description of the package "gnome-shell« which uses the title "evolution calendar" (in German) instead of its own. "gnome-shell" also exists as a separate package with a correct description in 13.10 (but does not seem to in 13.04 according to user reports). [Original description] In the ubuntu software center, the package description of the package texmacs says "Ein [...] Taschenrechner [...] ", although it should say "Ein [...] [Text]Editor [...] ". The long text by the way is only in english. ** Affects: ddtp-ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: Confirmed ** Affects: ubuntu-translations Importance: Low Status: Invalid ** Tags: raring saucy u1-by-user u1-on-production -- Wrong association of package description for several packages https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/839487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
