So, it seems I've hit this bug, and I'm running 14.04.1. This is with a GN Netcom 2000 USB headset. It worked in 12.04, but I am now hitting this bug in 14.04. Is there a udev rule I could add that would introduce a delay after this device's initialization is started so that it would be fully

Interesting problem, never heard of this type before. I suspect the hardware somehow isn't ready when Pulseaudio probes it. Could you do provide a PulseAudio log: http://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log and plug it in while the log is running (and confirm the problem)? Thanks! ** Changed in:
