Public bug reported:

When starting up Banshee on an upgraded oneiric machine, it doesn't show
the interface at all. Instead, I only see a blank screen before it turns
gray, and requires a force-quit. I ran a strace -p against it, and it
appears to be reading the filesystem, but there's no indication from the
interface or the debug messages on the console that anything is
happening.

Please let me know I can best help to diagnose this issue.
