Hmm, I think the problem is that since log-level 4 in daemon.conf causes too much output from the start, so some of it is being refused to enter syslog (ratelimited by syslogd). That's why pulse2.log and pulse3.log do not contain proper information... -- You received this bug notification

Hmm. The second part (network card always selected as default) might be a duplicate of bug 843780. The non-detect part is somewhat trickier. Is there perhaps any information in syslog (please attach output of grep pulseaudio /var/log/syslog ) that can indicate what's going wrong? ** Changed in:

The problem with changing device to networked one seems to be fixed as of now, probably fixed lately. Now it remember correct one. The problem with discovering is unfortunately still here. Every boot 'killall pulseaudio' needed to discover it. I attach log you asked. Thanks. ** Attachment added:

Okay, it says that the module failed to load but not why. Maybe we can try to figure out why by adding more debug info: copy the file /etc/pulse/default.pa to ~/.pulse/default.pa then edit the file and add this line: set-debug-level 4 if you've manually enabled network sinks/sources in that

Sorry but pulse doesn't start with this parameter in config. I was only able to set log-level to 'debug' instead of 'notice' in daemon.conf. I also found that all options in paprefs are greyed out, i can't change any option in it, which i should be able. May be not related thou... ** Attachment

Hmm, in your new pulse log there are no new attempts to even start the tunnel sink. That seems very strange to me, something else must have changed, not only the log level? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

Changed only log level. What I found out is that on my latest login, card was found and when i killed pulse it disappeared. Here is another log, which should contain successful and unsuccessful discovery of the card. I didn't change anything meanwhile. ** Attachment added: pulse3.log
