As a side note, I have noticed that, for example, Thunderbird seems to
have gone stale by just sitting minimized in the launcher. When clicking
on it, nothing happens. The only way to reactivate it is by alt-tabbing
a few times or right clicking and opening a task, e.g. "compose
message", and then
Yep, this affects me as well. Quite often the initial right-click on an
app icon freezes the context menu, and right-clicking again has a
working context menu, however the application that I am quitting that
way crashes the whole desktop.

- Often (but not always), when first right-clicking an item in the
- launcer, items in the context menu that pops up does not highlight on
- mouseover and (more crucially) can not be selected. Only when right-
- clicking a second time on a launcher item will the context men
Steps to reproduce:
1. Close all windows.
2. Do unity --replace from a console.
3. Wait until all indicators are loaded.
4. Right-click an item in the launcher.
What happens:
A context menu is drawn, but the items is not highlightable or clickable.
What should happen:
The items in the context men
