Public bug reported:

When I log in to my Feisty (gnome) desktop (after an update today),
Network manager tries to detect my wireless network using the default
bcm43xx driver for my card. bcm43xx never works for me but ndiswrapper
does. So, when I try to "sudo rmmod bcm43xx" it tries to unload it but
it just hangs there while Network Manager spins. Neither Network
Manager nor rmmod recover or exit. They both just hang. The result is
that I can't get my wireless card working at the moment.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
