When using the gnome display config, I used to be able to have my
monitors in a non-mirrored display setup. However, now when I select the
non-mirrored variety, I get the following error:

'The selected configuration for displays could not be applied
required virtual size does not fit available size: requested=(2560, 1024), 
minimum=(320,200), maximum(1280, 1280)'

This has always worked in the past, but now I can't have my dual monitor
setup side-by-side which is clearly a regression.
