Well, I just set it to false and then restarted unity, and so far compiz

Other glitches that commonly happen:
- you can't send input to a window until you first re-display it via the
launcher AND click on its titlebar
- a maximized window gets redrawn with an empty space at the top where
the titlebar would normally go. Mouse clicks either don't work at this
point or a
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Those graphical glitches btw look like left-overs from the minimize
animation. I'm seeing multiple lines on my desktop at the moment when I
minimize firefox (and the desktop and any windows on it are
unaccessible, making unity pretty unusable).

It looks similar to #847967, and I do have that option
(show_minimized_windows) set to true. I guess we can see if unity 4.18.0
fixes it.

It could be a dupe of 835994, but in that one only the titlebar was
affected, but with this one the entire window stops responding. Also
835994 is harder to reproduce now.
