After latest update the problem with the long lines seems to be fixed.

Status:
The version numbers of the update and my package matched, so I double-
checked my Nautilus and sure enough, the problem's not there anymore.
Probably just needed to restart my machine for the fix to take effect.
At any rate, looks fixed now to me.
