particular package and for GUI installs that is called ubiquity. For
text installs, as on the alternate CD, is called debian-installer.

IIRC, keyboard language is not asked, that is the bug. You can go
through the steps to identify the keyboard by answering questions. That
works. But if the questions are not answered, then there is no fallback
to a menu with a list of keyboard layouts.

recall what you choose for those?
