As I wrote in my last comment, since fglrx with version 3.34.8, the
suspent to ram - problem is fixed on my HP-NX6325. There is only the
problem with shtudown left.

I get This page does not exist yet for that wiki page. Was it supposed
to be some other page?
I seem to have the same problem, but I am using ati and still cannot
resume. My hardware is HP NC8230 (the display card is Ati Radeon X600).

As I assumed the suspend-wake-up is a problem when the Laptop is
suspended a longer time. After I tried to wake up my laptop this
morning, the wake up failed again. Whit 6.10 I suspended the Laptop
every evening and did not had this problem.

I`ve installed linux-image-2.6.20-8-generic installed Version is
2.6.20-8.14. I updated to this Version at 2007-02-17 and can´t find any
updates now. Do you mean this update, or should there be a new one?

That is the one I was suggesting. I had missed the part about 2.6.20-8
and only saw 2.6.20-6. Could you please also add the output of 'lspci
-vvnn' as an attachment to your bug report? Thanks in advance.

I made some more tries. I started my laptop and after KDE comes up, I
made a suspend and a wake up, it works. I retried 3 times. No problems
with wake up. Maybe it´s a problem, when my Laptop is sleeping for a
longer time. Next try was a normal shutdown. The System hangs in
shutdown-screen and
