I suspect you're experiencing either bug 27667 (which is fixed) or 94994
(which is not), so ddcprobe will tell us this.

End here is the xorg.conf (i set two screen resolutions 1440*900 and
1024*768 to be sure to have at least one working). Norally the 1440*900
should be sufficient.

Thanks for the additional information. 'sudo xresprobe nv' could be
empty if you were not using the nv driver, but your xorg.conf file shows
you are. Could you also add your X log file '/var/log/Xorg.0.log'?
