In daily ISO 20110926 the search bar does not appear when System Settings is
selected.
However the control center does not reset to show All Settings.

Is this problem still present after the updates on 2011-09-26? I cannot
reproduce the problem. When I follow the steps you mention the settings
go back to 'All Settings'
