I tested the configuration window while connecting an external display
to my Dell Mini 1012.
The problem remains the same, even when I tried to change the display of
800*600 to a 1024*600. Also, when I have a default display of 1024*600
and then I connect the VGA, it switch to a 800*600 display wi

also have a default screen resolution of 1024*600. I'll try to do
something with the configuration window in this week while I connect an
external display to my Dell Mini 1012.

FYI - in Nov 25 Precise, screens displays correctly in Unity2D. Just not
in Unity. That's improvement though...

Well, okay, if that's going to be Canonical's attitude. I thought Unity
was targeted for netbooks. Now you're saying that if I use my netbook as
a workbench machine with an external monitor, you're not interested in
supporting that configuration. I realize nobody's going to connect an

Unity is designed for 1024*600 screen resolutions and more. The problem
I believe is that the GPU your system have is not capable enough or your
monitors have compatibility problems with each other.
