The upstream 3.13 kernel is currently under development. The
radeon.audio=1 kernel boot option will no longer be necessary with this
kernel. Instead, HDMI audio on ATI/AMD Radeon cards can be enabled and
disabled on the fly by typing the following in a terminal window:
xrandr --output HDMI-0
You have 4 separate problems and should report 4 separate bugs.
Regarding the lack of HDMI audio, it is disabled by default for ATI
Radeon. According to the developer Alex Deucher, The current HDMI code
causes blank screens on a lot of systems if audio is enabled. Until that
gets fixed properly,
