Gustav tested and confirmed the patches noted in the upstream bug report
resolves the issue. The patch has subsequently been sent upstream:

v3 and v4 has the bug, v2 solves the initial problem with my main screen
going black when i start the TV but it introduces another, now its my TV
that says no signal when i start the TV. Maybe there is a combination
of two patches that need to be reverted. Since the v1 kernel works
