I have the same problem when I run update-manager -d to upgrade 9.10 to

Fixed, thanks. I used CDIMAGE_INSTALL_BASE instead as I felt that was
slightly more appropriate, but otherwise the patch is the same.

Thanks for your bugreport.
The problem here is that the desktop CD should not contain a upgrade
script as it does only contain a very limited pacakge selection.
I will attach a patch.

Note that the iso is mounted, not a physical CD. also note that I've
tried it both double-clicking the cdromupgrade and running it from the
terminal using the absolute path. Also, I have tried running as root
(sudo) and when I start the install, I choose not to use the network.
