Public bug reported: The colouring of the battery status is relative to the remaining time. In my situation, on a laptop with a battery lifetime of ~6 hours, the indicator turns red when I still have ~ 1.5 hours left (= ~ 25%); this is probably more then the full time of most other laptops, so it is pretty useless in my situation.
The colouring should follow the absolute remaining time (turning s red if say 0.5 hour left), just like the battery notifications do: "Remaining time is xxx, you should.....". ** Affects: indicator-power (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863069 Title: Colouring of battery indicator should be absolute, not relative in remaining time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-power/+bug/863069/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
