It's established practice in user-setup to add system usernames even if
they're only used by a single package, and I think it makes sense to do
so.

Currently, the "mythtv" username is used for launching the backend process.
I'm not sure if that defines system service in the sense you are thinking,
but I thought it makes sense at least.

really forbidden. Restricted usernames seem to consist of "well-known"
system service usernames.
