It affects my system too (Ubuntu 11.04 / amd64), but I've noticed that in gnome classic or fallback mode if you prefer the focus behavior is working as expected. When I log out form unity and login with the gnome classic mode when window is clicked it gets the focus without problems, so I'm thinkin

This bug is present in 12.04 beta with all current updates. The bit that bugs me the most: sometimes I open fullscreen Nautilus window by accident, and when I click on X in top left corner to close it, I'm actually closing some totaly different application - which wasn't what I wanted at all. --

Take e.g. the update manager (cog-power-menu in the top right corner -> updates...): open it, click the button to look for updates and switch to a different application.
