+1, I'm seeing the same results. Everything is loaded fine, however,
/dev/video* does not exist.

Still happens on 2.6.20-13 for iSight. What is weird is the camera
stopped showing in lsusb, or the devid changed for some reason...

You mentioned new uvcvideo driver would be available in next upload. I just
upgraded to newest kernel 2.6.20-13-generic, i assume the driver would be
updated with this one?
Still having the same problem, dmesg shows no /dev/video* created, driver is
not working :(

I noticed that the latest update is not working with the iSight on a
MacBook 2nd gen.
2.6.20-12 was working well, even though I had to load the firmware
manually, now it doesn't recognize the isight.

Hi, dmesg output attached.
As a side note, i just discovered something that may be of interest to you.
At home I have two identical looking cams.
First shows as
Bus 005 Device 003: ID 046d:08c2 Logitech, Inc.
However the second one shows as
Bus 004 Device 005: ID 046d:08b5 Logitech, Inc.
So
Looks like our uvcvideo driver was pretty old. I've updated it for next
upload.
