There is no problem with my harddrive ;), see new attached dmesg attachment.
I have unmounted 'everything' and turn speakers and volume control up, but the
center and the rear speaker still not work. I know that the setup is correct
before ubuntu, i used windows with the audigy sound
Your description of the issue doesn't appear to describe an actual
problem. Stereo 2-channel output is the default; you have to explicitly
select any other configuration. Have you actually tried using
plug:surround51 for a 6-channel configuration? (aka ``aplay
-Dplug:surround51 foo.wav'', where fo

FYI, you have a problem with your hda drive, or the disc it contains.
Could you try unmuting everything and turning the volume up? (Sounds
