install the package 'checkbox-urwid'. You must make sure to run in the
terminal 'checkbox-urwid
--whitelist=/usr/share/checkbox/data/whitelists/default.whitelist' to

Checking if the wait dialog is active before hiding it
(self._wait.is_active()) mitigates the symptoms slightly - but causes a
