Only developers should state that they are not going to fix a bug. I see
no reason why this couldn't be fixed in the ports kernel if it's still
an issue. powerpc CDs still exist even though they aren't officially-
supported any more; see, for example:

the CD not ejecting is true for all systems cf bug 84592,
Enter not working is also true for all Macs and some amd64, without the
line of ^[* though, CTRL^J might reboot or halt the box.
Nedd for removing the backup battery is a new one and scary.
