Solved, thanks for that, now I feel like an idiot. I do think the option
should be in keyboard shortcuts not inside of a plugin which is inside
of CCSM.not sure if that now turns this into a wishlist item

The unity-plugin configurates Unity, keyboard shortcuts is gnome based.
