I am another user of WLI-UC-GNM2, and trying to use it on linux.
Unfortunately, it is not working properly yet, and I can see the same symptom
as Nobuto's comment #5.
As long as checking on my PC, the latest Ubuntu 12.04 kernel (3.2.0-24-generic)
is still compiled without CONFIG_RT2800U
