Hi,
I am running on Ubuntu 12.04.02 (latest) and since a few days this happening to
me as well??
Before then when drag-dropping files from Dash Home it created a copy of the
.desktop file in my ~/Desktop folder and gave it x permissions.
Now it creates symlinks which obviously does not work: no

I assume this is why I get the "Untrusted application launcher" when I
try to drag an application from dash to the desktop. (Actually when I
launch a shortcut created by dragging from dash to the desktop.)

U3D does.
