Public bug reported: To reproduce:
1. sudo apt-get install xfce4 2. Restart computer, log in to XFCE4 session and use it for a bit. 3. Restart computer, log in to "Ubuntu" (Unity) session. 3. Open a terminal. 4. xdg-open . The last command opens thunar instead of nautilus until the thunar packages are completely uninstalled from the system.
