All the problems seem to be fixed in Gutsy latest, with the exception of
the comment in 2) about the Windows key not being passed thru. I can
live with that though.

multiple minor problems
Hi Anthony (2007.09.24_05:34:50_+0200)
KVM needs to be run as root because guest memory isn't swappable yet.
Why not just create a kvm group, and only allow certain users to use it?
It's better than having to run it as root...

Any user that has access to /dev/kvm can potentially launch a memory-
based DoS attack since the guest memory that's allocated isn't
swappable.

Have you tested this recently, either with the release version of Feisty
or (preferably) with Gutsy (kvm package 1:28-4ubuntu1)? (1) Should be
fixed, and I can't reproduce (2).

QEMU also experiences this problem when running under Feisty (all
updates applied) as of 05-30-2007.
Additionally, I attempted an upgrade to QEMU 0.9 and the problem still
exists.
Virtual Machines attempted are Windows XP SP-2, Red Hat 8.0, Damn Small
Linux 3.01, Ubuntu 6.10
