I would suggest marking this report as invalid as the upgrade completed,
which you can do yourself by clicking the options next to "incomplete",
and opening new reports against phonon and kdm.

ah sorry for not being clear, I lost the configuration. the network connection
list was empty and I had to reenter all passkeys.
furthermore I'm now experiencing some more anomalies. the sound output does not
work all the time, and when I try to configure phonon I get a message that it
detected
When you say "all my wifi settings are lost", do you mean just the
configuration or that you also lost the network?
In case you did not loose the network I suppose that you completed the
upgrade from a terminal with
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get autoremove

Don't know if this is important, but:
- the problem occurred almost at the end of the upgrade
- after rebooting everything seems to work as it should, except that all my
wifi settings are lost

forgot to add:
- was doing upgrade on wifi, after the upgrade failed, I wasn't able to
reconnect to my network, but other networks were visible
