Public bug reported: I want to use Alt+KP_Subtract and Alt+KP_Add to change volume (I have no volume keys). However when I try to grab those shortcuts they appear as Alt++ and Alt+-. In other words, when grabbing shortcuts KDE mistakenly sees KP_Subtract and KP_Add as the normal plus and minus keys which are completely unrelated.
If I manually edit ~/.kde/share/config/kglobalshortcutsrc to add the shortcuts (as KP_Subtract and KP_Add) they do not work either.
