Hi,
haven't found a way to fix it but to upgrade libquvi and cclive (to
0.7.8-1). Not hard by using mogaal's github for libquvi and cclive
downloaded from sourceforge.
Building the package is not that hard, but I guess it's out of the scope
of this bug. Kinda annoying to upgrade several
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Btw, cclive doesn't work on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid too, see bug

I found one, very nice youtube downloader ClipGrab - this download
utility is very easy to use and works without problems, see bug #282507
([needs-packaging] ClipGrab)
