Dirk N., this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release

It seem rather then Xorg is the Kernel is unstable (nouveau -> TRAP->
compiz). therefore GUI is unstable and then crash after 10 minutes, mouse
moving but graphic fade to black.
The only way to reboot is through "alt+sysrq +RSEINUB".

My Ubuntu 12.04.3 PC seizes up every 2 or 3 days, forcing a reboot. But, today
it just reported an error and continued working and then encountered the same
error again, as shown in syslog:

Same here. The problem happened as first described, closing CCSM, or in
a totally random manner. Killing X from tty re-establishes things back
into place.
