Public bug reported: Sorry for the clunky summary. I couldn't come up with a different way to phrase it. A picture is worth a thousand words, though.
In 11.10, 64 bit, the calendar applet isn't displaying days the way it did in 11.04. Previous behavior in 11.04, I found an image of it via google: http://cdn.omgubuntu.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Screenshot-4.png If that link doesn't work, it's a few pictures down on this page: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/12/ubuntu-11-04-alpha-1-released/ Well, in 11.10 with the available updates (just checked update manager and it came up empty), instead of fading out those days, all of the days are in the same white text (see attached picture). This makes it more difficult to utilize the applet as it no longer contrasts between the current month displayed and previous/next month. I haven't made any changes to the default appearance options or theme, using the regular Ubuntu release with the default Unity desktop. If I can provide other information, please let me know what/how. ** Affects: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/876167 Title: calendar applet no longer grays out days for months other than current To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-datetime/+bug/876167/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
