Public bug reported: I have never had this problem before. Crash left second monitor with image from GNOME desktop - first monitor had a issue saying there was a null dereference in the kernel and I could see mention of Nouveau and Pulse Audio (don't think audio was connected as I am not playing anything at the moment).
Overall I have been impressed with 11.10. After the reboot I have made this report as soon as I created my launchpad account.
