I think has been fixed in Emacs CVS as of 2007-03-05, but the newest emacs-snapshot in Ubuntu is older than that. But all you need to do to use python-send-* in the current emacs-snapshot is to run M-x run-python first. -- [python.el](wrong-type-argument stringp nil)
