René Zurita Corro, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-liv
Since an update to kernel 3.0.0-14-generic I haven't had any problems.
Perhaps it has been fixed it that version.

Same problem here, same distro Ubuntu 11.10 and same computer sony vaio
vpcm120AL, also I tried Turning power management off on the wifi as

Is there a tool to get the screen shot of the kernel panic, or is it
sufficient with a cell phone photo?, It all happens so quickly even I
panic, but I see some text about a trace in console mode that I have no
idea how to copy other that on paper. Thanks in advance.

3.1.0-999-generic_3.1.0-999.201110200416_i386, bug remains, kernel panic
occurred while on battery power, I attach the output from the
installation of that kernel since it gave an error.
