I see the same problem with the Live-CD for amd64 - after installing
went to the power menu and it only has "Lock Screen" and "Suspend" - no
"Shutdown". MD5 of the ISO is correct.

If you haven't got the button in the right upper corner you probably have
installed from a bad iso image.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. While we appreciate the difficulties you are facing, it would appear
