This bug is still present in the (as of today) current trusty thar
release. I really would love to have a working WM setting as follows:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences focus-mode \'sloppy\'

Sebastien, I think you processed the precise merge and the missing file
comment referred to the oneiric one. That branch looked ok but the diff
on the merge proposal didn't. I think I had already noticed and fixed
the branch but didn't realise I needed to resubmit the merge proposal. I
have now don
