I'm closing this bug since Precise now includes a new Vala
implementation of Zeitgeist (for older releases it's also available in
our PPA), so it should be fixed.. Please let us know if this problem
still happens with Zeitgeist 0.9~alpha3 or later.

At the moment I do in fact have 2 zeitgeist-daemon processes running.
They are each running under my user account (ie. non-root). One seems
to have been launched by the other. They are each consuming 17.1% of my
memory.
Just after taking this screenshot, they both changed to consuming 17.2%,

There should really only exists one daemon at a time. If this is still
happening, could you please provide more details?
- When you get more than one daemon, are both owned by the same user or is one
of them owned by "root"?
